Craft Show Jitters
Right before you go on stage you get those jitters. You question, am I good enough? Do I have enough? Will I be able to give the people what they want? Most importantly, will they like me? Well I have the craft show jitters and for all the same reasons.
I go down my check list. All looks good from tent to credit card reader; I don't think I missed a thing. My husband Steve is the organizer of the whole project and we have been planning everything for a few weeks. I will be making a few last minute items today like baskets and lollipops. I will also be making "thank you for your purchase" cards (I will place may business card in the thank you card). I always want to thank my customers for shopping.
By why am I writing this blog you ask? To scare you all off? No, it's more like a pep talk - what a coach would do before the big game. But, to be truthful I have jitters because I am afraid for all the reasons an entertainer has before they go on stage. Am I good enough? Do I have enough? Will I be able to give the people what they want? Most importantly, will they like me. I guess this is a good thing, it keeps me on my feet and a bit on edge. Oh, here are some double sided shutters I painted - one side is for Easter and the other side the 4th of July!
Tomorrow is the big day!
